Mindful Moment: Student Coloring

This month we are kicking off our coloring campaign! We've all seen the adult coloring books in the stores over the past few months and we're bringing them to Millbrook.

The School Library Journal featured an article in December, discussing the positive benefits of coloring in a high school setting. It's our hope that we can provide students (and staff) with "...a quiet space away from all the stressors, constant connectivity, and pressure to excel".

We will have colored pencils and a few different coloring pages to pick up at the circulation desk before and after school and at lunch for student (and staff) use.
