Love is unpredictable
Theme from "Much Ado About Nothing"
How is it related?
This supports the unpredictability of love by saying that love changes our perspective and allegiances, and this effects our actions.
The world is so unpredictable. Things happen suddenly, unexpectedly. We want to feel we are in control of our own existence. In some ways we are, in some ways we're not. We are ruled by the forces of chance and coincidence. -Paul Auster
Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye. -H. Jackson Brown Jr.
Compare and Contrast
Much a do around nothing revolves around love compared to "Harry Potter"'s Hermione and Ron where it includes a lot of life and death situations, intermediated with themes of friendship as well as love. Our theme of love is unpredictable is apparent in Much Ado about nothing by the ever-changing plot and romances of Benedict and Beatrice, as well as Claudio and Hero. Throughout the "Harry Potter" series Hermione and Ron have a rough relationship and it seemed that Hermione would prefer Harry over Ron. Alas, love unpredictability has put Hermione with Ron.
What lesson can we learn by exploration of this theme?
We can learn that within the feeling of love, there are many different passions and ways to love someone. Also your affections can sometimes go unnoticed by the eyes alone.
