Third person limited- It is not told through the eyes of the main character, Alex. The narrator only knows what is going on inside Alex's thoughts.


The building door opened inward, so he figured he shouldn't have any problems getting out. When he opened the door, a mixture of ice and snow caved inwards, only stopping once his knees were buried.


This section of dialogue show Alex learning about what is happening outside of Manhattan.
