This important plenary session will converge mental health professionals in the Caribbean, based on their research and experiences, to discuss the steps to take towards establishing a solid professional framework in the Caribbean. With great strides such as the advent of licensure in Jamaica for all psychologists and counsellors, and established programmes in some of the top universities within the Caribbean, it is paramount that we begin to define a clear vision of the way forward in our distinguished field. Panelists below will be joined by Dr Omowale Amuleru-Marshall of Grenada, President of The Caribbean Alliance of National Psychological Associations (CANPA; pictured here).
