October Stadium Construction Update
Lincoln Elementary
Third grader, Anna Repasky, noticed a problem on the soccer fields at Lincoln Elementary. There were a lot of students that wanted to play soccer but they couldn’t tell who was on whose team.
Anna took what she was learning in class about persuasive speeches, and wrote to Principal Giardino about how the third graders need pinnies for soccer. To her surprise, Mrs. Giardino hand-delivered pinnies a few weeks later.
Now all is right on the soccer fields at Lincoln Elementary!
Middle School East
Students at Gahanna Middle School East welcomed Dr. Joseph Graves as a guest speaker this week to introduce natural selection, its impact on the science world and beyond, and his life as a scientist.
Dr. Graves is a biological science professor at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. He shared his wealth of knowledge with our students throughout the week, as well as answered a lot of their questions.
Fairfield Career Center
Congratulations to Lincoln High School and Fairfield Career Center students Emily Enyart (top) and Sandra Kome (bottom) for their induction into the National Technical Honor Society.
