Tchaikovsky's Life
Tchaikovsky was born in Votkinsk, Russia in 1840. He was born with two sisters and four brothers. He loved his mother very much, but she was actually a mean and self absorbed person who wanted to live in the city. His mother hired a nanny called Fanny. She loved Tchaikovsky very much and noticed he was very delicate and shy. When Tchaikovsky was ten, his mother sent him to boarding school. He loved him mother so much, that he held onto the carriage while it was driving through the mud. This was a traumatic event for him. A couple years later his mother died. Another traumatic event was when he fell in love with Desiree Artot, a opera singer. Tchaikovsky was in love with her so much that he made music for her, but she married with no word of warning. Tchaikovsky eventually died in 1893.

Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture (Full with Cannons)
1812 Overture
1812 is considered as one of Tchaikovsky's most famous piece. It was created in 1880 for the celebrations of Tsar's Silver Junille and Russia's defeat over Napoleon, the emperor of France. It was not very popular at his time because he thought it was very noisy, and no regard to the pealing of the church and no cannons for the victory and celebration. Later on though, the 1812 Overture is often performed as the finale of concerts.
