Want to see what the lacrosse is all about?? Come to any of the open conditioning sessions on Wednesdays: 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the North Fieldhouse. Even if you don’t have equipment, we have equipment you can borrow to see if you like the sport!
All sessions are held in the PHSN Fieldhouse. Please enter the doors through the ‘back’ of the building near the stadium. The doors are labeled ‘GG’ and are located between the two storage sheds. You can’t miss them! Kids should bring the following items to conditioning: Tennis (non-marking) shoes, athletic wear (shorts and t-shirt), and a small snack/water if you wish.

Why Lacrosse? Lacrosse has been said to be ‘the fastest game on two feet’. While combining almost every sport that kids will play growing up, lacrosse connects the body with the mind. After speaking with many of our alumni that began at the junior high level, they’ve said that lacrosse has taught them discipline, strategy, mental and physical toughness, and leadership/teamwork.
PHSN/ Lakeview Lacrosse: This is our second year as a school-sanctioned varsity sport although we have had a club program for over 10 years. We have recently been recognized as a top 10 program in the area and look to further our success and to build our reputation as a lacrosse school. Our season officially begins on February 19th, 2018 and will run until the end of school. Registration is now open on the 8 to 18 website. We will be conditioning until the beginning of the season, please see the schedule above.

Black History Production at PHSC~ Awaken
There will be a Black History Month Production at PHSC on Thursday, February 22nd. This event demonstrates the significance of Black History from the past to now. There will be fashion shows, skits, poems, dances, etc. All are welcome. The show begins at 7 and doors open at 6:30
The show was made to educate and create unity. Black history is a chance during the year to recognize and pay respect to black Americans and African Americans from the past and present. The beauty in having this month is that no matter what's going on, or what's happened February will always be Black history month. So we might as well use it in a way to learn something new about the people who came before us, teach the current generation and the next generation of how there was a time in life when women and men came together in unity of all ethnicities with the hope for equality. It's something that should be shared forever with people, which is why we jumped at the chance to be able to have a Black History Month production at our school. It's something that has never been done in our school and what better time than now? In a climate where this generation is yearning for equality in all different aspects, why not show how far we've come, and also recognize what we can do to go even further. The reality is we are not fully at a place of true equality, and not everyone is aware of what is happening in today's society. This production really sheds light on our reality of today.
