STAR-Universal Screener Winter Window
April 24-May 23, 2017 Please prepare your students to take the test with fidelity. This window of assessment will be reported to the State for Fulton County Schools.
Georgia Milestones- Please continue to collect intervention and progress monitoring data throughout the testing window and make notations in the portal for irregularities, i.e. decrease in frequency due to GA Milestones Testing Schedule.
END OF THE YEAR REQUIREMENTS FOR TIER 2 STUDENTS- All of the following documents must be entered into the portal:
*Current Language Checklist 2016-17
*Goal
*Intervention Chosen (Tier 2 intervention frequency 3 times wk for 15 minutes)
*Progress Monitoring Tool Chosen (either STAR/MobyMax/RedBird)
*Progress Monitoring data entered into the portal (Tier 2 Progress Monitoring once every two to three weeks)
*Log of intervention dates for the school year(found under "Support" Tab)

When: (During Grade Level Planning)

Why: These meetings are designed for teams to discuss student progression and input Intervention and Progress Monitoring Data updates in Easy RTI-for each student.

Portal Entry Updates:
Find STAR data by clicking on the following tabs in this order-RTI process-profile-performance data
Under planning tab/tier progress monitoring, select the STAR by clicking on the second tab entitled “Use a currently existing assessment to monitor”, select STAR from dropdown, then click “associate”
Current language checklist each year in the process
Language Checkllist- below for 5 or more triggers an alert to SLP
Get in the habit of creating a final draft
Tier 2 intervention frequency 3 times wk for 15 minutes/ Tier 3 intervention frequency 4 times wk for 30 minutes
Tier 2 Progress Monitoring once every two to three weeks; Tier 3 once a week
MobyMax and USATestPrep Progress monitoring tools to be labeled as Intervention Embedded Tool from dropdown box
Create a RTI Summary to save data before changing to another tier, intervention, or progress monitoring tool
Before you backdate use of interventions, verify actual school work days (Avoid teacher workdays, professional development days, NO School days, and ALL Holidays) Also, beware of A/B days as well.
Friendly Reminders
The deadline for the task below was January 27, 2017; however, if it is not completed please diligently move toward completion.
Identify yourself as the intervention specialist for all students in your RTI Block.
If you have not already do so, begin to document progress in the Easy RTI portal.
Set up a schedule based on the 4-6 week rotation for progress monitoring and schedule a meeting date for each student.
Go into the Easy RTI portal and begin the Skills Inventory and Language Checklist for ALL students in the Tier 2/Tier 3 process.

November 11, 2016
Due November 18, 2016- Please continue to work on the following assignments and update the google documents with names of case managers and the scheduled meeting dates for each remaining student.
Determine which students will be able to move back to Tier 1 and place an asterisk next to their name indicating the move. Be sure to provide justification in the portal.
Within your teams, evaluate your flexible groups begin to assign the intervention specialist(case manager). This person is responsible for inputting data in the Easy RTI portal.
Set up a schedule based on the 4-6 week rotation for progress monitoring.
Go into the Easy RTI portal and begin the Skills Inventory and Language Checklist for ALL students being moved to Tier 2
