Becoming a PLC

Thank you for your engagement at our meeting last Monday. This week, please find time to talk with your team to identify one essential standard in math. Remember that this standard is a standard that you feel your students must master in order to be successful in the next grade. Also, please decide on one member of your team that will facilitate your meetings as we learn more about this in the coming weeks. This will be a person that will help each team to collaborate and not coblaborate. :-) Please send me that person's name as soon as you have decided.

Matt and I truly believe in this process and look forward to seeing what is going to happen as we determine essential standards and move toward next steps.

Upcoming Dates:

December 4th & 5th: Foothills Alliance here to present to students

December 5th: Faculty Meeting (mark your calendars!)

December 6th: Chorus Christmas concert at Palmetto Middle (we moved it to the middle school because of our limited space in the cafeteria)

December 11th: Chorus to nursing homes

December 19th: 1/2 day- dismissal at 11:00, Christmas party day!

More dates may be added as we move into December. We are in the process of coming up with our faculty Christmas party plan. I wonder what it will be this year?!? If you have suggestions for a fun party idea, send them my way. :-)
