What do I need to access?
Access to many digital resources are customized so KPR students/staff can access them without entering an id or password while at school. These services authenticate a user based on their IP address or with a special link that contains embedded access permissions.
There is also a link to direct database logins and passwords on each page of the Virtual Library if additional login information is required.

Accessing from Home
- Most digital resources require a high-speed internet connection and the most up to date browser version
- Internet access from home varies greatly. Personal devices often have specific internet settings or content restrictions as do home networks or routers
- We strongly recommend that you try accessing a resource using their your device from home environment before attempting to complete an assignment!
Troubleshooting Tips
1. Check if the website is down
- Go to downforeveryoneorjustme.com and enter the URL of the website. Click the “just me” button, and the site will tell you whether the website is loading for everyone
- Try opening the website on another device or another computer. You can also ask your friend to do that for you
2. Check if the website will load correctly in another browser
- It is possible that the website never loads in Edge but loads fine in Chrome or Firefox
- Go to your browser’s settings panel and delete your browsing history and cache. Here is how you do it in Google Chrome
3. Add HTTPS. If the url to the site is http try changing it https
4. Restart Your Computer
