We had a wonderful week in third grade! We finished government, we dug into rocks and minerals, we wrote our second essay, and celebrated the falcons going to the Superbowl! WHAT ELSE?
Believe it or not, it's already time to begin planning for our next school year. As such, we ask that all of our wonderful families please share your intentions with us by completing the school's important "Re-Enrollment" form.
Please be informed that priority enrollment for current FSA students will end on February 6, 2017.
After this date, any remaining spots in each grade level will be offered to new applicants and wait lists will be administered if necessary.
To guarantee your child’s spot for the 2017- 2018 school year, please make sure that your 2016-2017 tuition is paid in full and return this form, along with the 2017-2018 tuition deposit of $1,000 per child, no later than February 6, 2017. A copy of the form can be obtained from the front office.
Foster Care Charity Drive
We are excited to report that the FSAPS Student Council is leading a charity drive to benefit the Foster Care Support Foundation. We would like your help in providing for those in need.
FCSF serves a vital and growing need throughout Georgia by providing free clothing, infant equipment, and developmental toys to thousands of children in foster and relative care.
Who: All students at Fulton Science Academy
What: #FSACares about Foster Care Support Foundation
When: February 1st - February 22nd
How: Student Council will collect donated items during homeroom periods
SUGGESTED DONATION ITEMS:
- Clothing sizes preemie to adult, especially boys pants and shoes
- Toys in excellent condition, if not new. (click on below link for specific needs)
- Safe and clean infant care equipment.
Get a Free Admissions Ticket to Six Flags!
Elementary students can participate in an exciting program that encourages children to read for FUN! Read to Succeed is a program sponsored by Six Flags. Every student who completes six hours of recreational reading before our deadline of Friday, February 24th will receive a free admission ticket to Six Flags! Your child brought th home their 2016-2017 Reading Log.
Your child reads everyday in school for 20 minutes during AR time. They are more than welcome to have me sign for them each day. They can have it completed just by school reading in 6 weeks! Work on filling up your child's log and return it to me by Friday, February 24th to receive a Six Flags ticket.
