100th Day at Hadfield School

It was a very busy day for our kindergarten and 1st grade students. They were celebrating the 100th day of school with some special activities. Students rotated to six different classrooms working on designing an edible necklace, creating a 100th day book, drawing 100 shapes on a crown they created and even counting 100 licks on a tootsie pop!

February Digital Citizenship

Hello Waukesha Parents,

This month’s Digital Citizenship focus is on Intellectual Property and Fair Use. As parents, you teach your children not to take away someone else’s things; that’s called stealing. Students know that they can’t copy someone else’s homework and turn it in as their own; that’s cheating. We also need to teach our children not to take someone else’s ideas, images or information, called intellectual property, from the internet, too, without getting permission, or giving credit to the person or organization.

Thank you for discussing this topic with your students at home.

Parent Survey

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The School District of Waukesha is committed to providing high quality science education to all students. We ask that each family complete this survey so that we can best meet the needs of all students. Please answer the questions, based on your entire experience as a whole, not just the current school year.

Your answers will give insight to the ways we can best instruct and build our curriculum, so your time is greatly appreciated.
