LifeGuard - Coming Soon

Lifeguard, the sexual health curriculum, will be delivered this year for 6th-9th graders. The curriculum has been updated to include the newly adopted Health TEKS that went into effect this year. The curriculum will be released to us after Spring Break. The format will be different as well as the content. The new curriculum will be delivered in a video format for use by teacher facilitators. It will be: watch the video lesson, pause for student comments, restart the video for the answers to be given, etc. Lessons will be facilitated by 6th grade PE/Dance/PreAthletics coaches and 7th and 8th grade science teachers. The instruction is opt in only. Teachers will be sending an opt in form home with your child for your signature. These forms will be collected by the teachers prior to instruction.

Parents may request to preview the curriculum here.

You are invited to a Virtual Parent Workshop on March 20th at 6:00pm. You must register for the workshop by Monday, March 20th at 12:00PM using the following link. After registering, a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting will be sent.
