MESSAGE FROM MRS. ROBERTSON
Conferences are only a week away and we are excited to meet with you! We have so many amazing things to share with you about child and their start to the school year. Conferences will be scheduled for 15 minutes to allow enough time to meet with each child's family. This time will go by quickly and it can be helpful to plan ahead. In an effort to make your time together as productive as possible here are some tips to help make the most of your time you have with your child's teacher.
- Prepare questions that you may have, in advance of the conference. If possible, share these with your child's teacher so that they can gather information or work samples that can answer your questions.
- Arrive a few minutes early and end the conference on time. Additional time can be scheduled at a late date to finish the conversation if necessary.
- Share information that may impact your child' learning from the academic, social or emotional perspectives.
- Share what your child is communicating with you when they return home from school. We want to hear how school makes them feel. What makes your child feel successful? What areas are making them feel less than successful?
- Ask how you can collaborate with the teacher to make this school year one in which for your child will learn and grow!
We hope that these tips will help you as you plan for and meet with your child's teacher.
Yours in education,
Kimberly Robertson

Letter From Mrs. Kearney
Dear CMES Community,
I am reaching out to inform you that October 22 will be my last day at CMES. The time I have spent here has been an invaluable and memorable experience. Watching your children grow and mature has been a tremendous treasure. As a team, we have faced challenges that seemed insurmountable. It is my hope that you and your child(ren) have felt well supported.
When my dream to be a School Counselor started 22 years ago, I never thought my journey would lead me to private practice. This decision has been a difficult one, but one that is necessary to meet the needs of myself and my family. While I will not be serving as your counselor, I will continue to see, as I continue to be involved as a parent at CMES.
I will be speaking with students regarding my departure. I want them to know that it has been my pleasure to know them and that they will continue to be supported and loved by the administration and staff.
