Notes from Mrs. Carder
As this time year comes around, sicknesses begin to happen. Encourage your child to wash their hands often, get rest, and eat healthy. The best learning occurs when your child is at school.
Many people wonder how they can support their school. Be sure to check backpacks for notes and homework each night. Keep yourself informed of due dates and important upcoming events. Help your child feel prepared for school each day by getting them to school on time with all their needed supplies to help them feel well prepared. Support PTA and school events. Read with your child often and keep up with their assigned work or skills being worked on in class. Keep in touch with the teacher if you have questions or wonder what more you can do to assist your child in their learning journey.
Thank you for all you do to support your child and our school. It is because of the wonderful staff, families, and students that we have an amazing learning community!
From Nurse Linda
The Health Fair was a success! We appreciate Dr. Stuart Scott doing the dental exams. The volunteers assisting with height, weight and vision make the health fair possible. We screened 379 students.
