Our Week in Photos!
4th-6th Grade Holiday Sing-Along!
Mr. Perkins led our 4th-6th graders in a wonderful performance! Our youngest learners enjoyed singing along with Rudolph, Jingle Bells, and so many more. The show also featured our 6th grade band members led by Mrs Krantz.
What a show!

Start 2024 Off Right- With Great Attendance!
Many of our families have demonstrated great attendance patterns throughout this school year and are on pace to finish the year with 9 or fewer absences- which is excellent!
Some of our other families are working to improve their child's attendance rate by getting their child to school for as many 5-day weeks as possible! As each week passes that your child is here every day, their attendance rate improves and their lifelong habits of good attendance become more deeply engrained.
With cold/flu season upon us, remember that if your child is generally well, they can come to school! This includes students that have runny noses, mild/lingering coughs or tummy aches, etc. We know, as parents, some days are a bit of a judgement call on whether or not your child can handle a school day. If your child isn't acting like their usual self while here at school, we'll give you a call- but most kids do just fine making it through the day with mild symptoms.
All of that said- if your child has a fever, any vomiting/diarrhea, or unexplained rashes, they need to stay home until they are clear of these symptoms for 24-hours, without medication. Additionally, for more moderate respiratory illnesses, we always appreciate a doctor's note letting us know that a child has been seen and is cleared to return.
We're looking forward to partnering with you in 2024 to establish good attendance routines in our Eagles- because that matters more than words can say
Canvas
ll Fraser classroom teachers provide instruction, resources, activities, and assessments to students utilizing the Canvas LMS. As a result, students have continuous access to the course materials and information regarding their achievement.
Parents/Guardians can also have continuous access to their student’s course materials and grades in Canvas by creating a parent/observer account. In addition, parents of multiple students can easily switch between their students to view grades and assignments within the same parent account.
All sign up information and resources are provided on the Fraser website.
Important reminders when using Canvas:
- Canvas works best in Chrome
- Please do not install the Canvas app (for parents or students). We are not supporting it as our staff and students are utilizing the web-based version of Canvas and it looks and works differently.
- If you signed up and paired with your students last year, you still have access to those students and their new courses this year.
- If you need to add more students to your account this year, please follow the directions provided below.
- If you have forgotten your password, you can use the Forgot Password? link on the parent sign in page. Then, enter the email address you used to set up the account to receive a password reset email.
- If you have forgotten the email you used, please reach out to Kim Keith, Kimberly.keith@fraserk12.org, for additional assistance.
READY OR NOT- THE COLD WEATHER IS HERE!
We're starting to see MANY students bundled up each day, which is great! Please be sure to send your child to school dressed for the weather each day. Students will start needing warm coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and/or boots daily throughout the winter.
Please take time to label each and every item- because our lost and found gets bombarded with lost winter accessories throughout the season
Please note that, per Board Policy, we will be having outdoor morning lineup and heading outdoors for our 20 minute recess(es) if the windchill is 10+ degrees.
Time outdoors is time well spent for kids, in all seasons
