Student Drop off/Pick up
When dropping off or picking up your student in the Riesling Rd. drop off area, please remember a couple of important safety procedures. First, only have students get in or out of your vehicle in the clearly designated area in front of the office (the curb is painted yellow). Second, please pull all the way forward. This is necessary for the safety of all and to keep a clear fire lane as mandated by law. Thank you for your help in keeping Kenilworth safe!

In Keith’s job as a school counselor, he describes himself as a “fixer.” When asked what his hobbies, interests, and activities are, Keith says “I love music. Going to see it live - everything from jam bands (I'm a Deadhead), punk, blues, jazz, reggae, funk, to electronic. I am a HUGE sports fan! Love football (Raiders/Niners/Cal Bears) hockey (Sharks), basketball (Dubs), and baseball (Giants). Love nature and traveling.”

Tanya Trimble
“As one of the school counselors, I work to advocate for students and families, support teachers and administrators, and facilitate communication with all educational stakeholders. I am proud to work one-on-one with our students, supporting emotional and academic growth, and helping students to set their personal goals for a bright future.” When asked what her hobbies, interests, and activities are, Tanya says “When I am not at school, you can most likely find me in my garden or on a hike enjoying this wonderful area we live in. I love nature and am a bonafide crazy plant lady. Would you believe me if I told you I have over 50 houseplants?? And, I love every one of them equally! Animals, plants, and nature bring me so much joy and I feel my best when surrounded by them. I love seeing all the beautiful, unique forms life has to offer and I feel grounded by remembering my place amongst it all. I try to travel and camp and explore as much as possible. Give me sunshine, water, green things and good people and I am in paradise any day of the week!”

Contacting your child's teacher
The best way to get in touch with your child’s teacher is via email. A directory of email addresses is available on the website and is a much better option than calling given the limitations of the voicemail system.
Safeway (Leghorn Marketplace)
The community of proprietors at the Safeway shopping center is requesting your/our support in educating students about appropriate consumer behaviors. Unfortunately, some students have not been respectful to employees when they have been asked to clean up after themselves and to use appropriate language while in their establishments or just outside. Some have even gone so far as to cause some minor property damage. At Kenilworth, through our life skills lessons, we will review appropriate public behaviors, but students will also need reminders from home as well. If your student frequents the Safeway shopping center, please talk with them about proper consumer behaviors. Thank you for your support!
