Principal's Message

Dear Westmoor Families,

I want to thank our Westmoor community for working together to help each student be successful. The old adage still remains "It takes a village to raise a child.” Every one of us plays a key role and the roles are interconnected. Please congratulate our seniors as they have worked through several barriers to arrive at graduation on Thursday. We are so proud of their tenacity, reliance, and commitment. We are proud of our families, who supported their child and pushed them to the finish line. Thank you to our staff, who work tirelessly providing support along the way and to our district office that works side by side with our staff and families, providing needed support and guidance.

In preparation for our final week and a half of school, Thursday, May 25 and Friday, May 26 will be half days of school. Please review important dates and times below in preparation.

Please arrive early to your exam
Make sure to eat a healthy/full breakfast the day of the exam
Getting a good night sleep prior to your exam is vital
Setting out your school clothes the night before saves time

Scan me to join us and celebrate Children's Day on Saturday, June 3rd!

To celebrate and recognize the Chinese culture in Daly City, the Daly City Chinese Youth Committee, a group composed of Jefferson High School and Westmoor High School enthusiastic students, is partnering with the Daly City Recreation Department to host a Children’s Day event on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 from 11am to 2pm at Gellert Park. Please RSVP by Friday, May 26th.

On the day of the event, there will be lion dances and different Chinese cultural activities! Free Chinese food is given out as well, first come first served. Please don't hesitate to join us as we learn and embrace Chinese culture together!

Novel News from the Library

All books are due by May 31st. Your teachers will be announcing when your class is returning your books. Please bring your book back that day!

If you checked out a library book--please return it anytime.

If you have any books from any other year or any other time--please return them anytime you come to the library.

Congratulations to all of our athletes this year, especially our seniors, for their four years of dedication to their sport(s). We wish you all the best.

Just a reminder that SportsNet has closed for the current school year and will reopen in mid-July. During this break, please complete your son or daughter's physical so there are no issues when you begin the Online Registration especially for fall sports.

Finally, Ms. Paul would like to thank all of the parents, guardians, and caretakers for their support this year. It has been a difficult year with our gym situation but you continued to support our athletes by attending away games and matches. THANK YOU!!!
