A Message from the Principal
I hope you all had a great weekend! Next week our students will begin our district assessment, MAP. This assessment is assessed three times a year: beginning, middle and end of the year. Students are testing on math and ELA concepts. The data informs teachers of any areas of concerns and strengths in both subjects. Parents will be notified with this information once testing is completed.
Have a great week!
Following the latest CDC guidance, we have adjusted our COVID-19 protocol here at school. Please see below for procedures if your child tests positive for COVID-19, or if your child has been exposed to COVID-19.
If your child tests positive for COVID-19, CDC recommends:
- Stay home for 5 days. Student may return to school on day 6 if symptoms are improving and fever-free for 24 hours without fever reducing medicaton.
- Wearing a mask through day 10.
If your child is exposed to COVID-19 and/or is a close contact, CDC recommends:
- Wearing a mask through day 10, and monitor symptoms throughout. If any symptoms develop, isolate and test.
- On day 6, test regardless of presence of symptoms.
We will call and notify families if your child is considered a close contact of a confirmed positive COVID-19 case. In addition, if there is a positive COVID-19 case in your child's classroom, a notification email will be sent to you.
