From Our Principal

Dear Parents,

I want to take a minute to say how much I appreciate your flexibility in the past weeks. We had the main Spring STAAR testing for grades 3-5 and the students were able to have a quiet and secure testing environment. I appreciate your understanding with the closing of the school to volunteers and visitors.

I also want to thank the staff of Shepard. The testing season brings many obstacles as we plan and our staff is amazing. They were flexible and adjusted to meet with the needs of all students.

I am so excited as we look forward to the many end of year events. This is the time of year where we celebrate our accomplishments and reflect on the year. It has been a great year and I know the teachers are hard at work planning 2016-17.

Thanks for all that you do and your continued support,

Principal Lancaster

Change in Routine Pick Up?

Parents, Mrs. B would like to remind everyone that if a change occurs in the way your child will be picked up from school on any given day, please call the office by 2:15 pm so the message can be relayed. We know emergencies happen but it makes for less confusion for both your child and the staff if everyone has advanced notice if there is a change in the normal routine.

Correction- Child Safe # is 469-752-3100 option #3

Thank you!
