STRA's lacrosse program is fun based skills clinic, similar to Speed Lax. Lacrosse encompasses skills used in soccer, hockey, basketball and tennis. This program will help achieve multi-sport athleticism.

Participants will learn the game by playing. There will be small teams which will play quick games on 3 small fields (beginner, intermediate & advanced). 2022 Field Hockey
STRA Field Hockey is offered to Southampton players in grades 3-8 as of September. Practices begin in mid August and the season runs through mid November.
The full practice & game schedule will be created after team selection at the end of July.
Juniors (3rd - 5th Grade): Practice is held 3 times a week, 6-7:30pm. Games are Saturday mornings from September to the first week in November.
Seniors (6th - 8th Grade): Practice is held after the school practices. Days will vary due to school game schedule. We urge any 6, 7, & 8th grader interested in playing for STRA to participate on the school team. Games are held on Sunday afternoons from September to the first week in November.
We do play other townships and are required to do some traveling. The other townships in our league are Indian Mills, Marlton, Pemberton, Burlington & Florence.
All players are required to have: shin guards, colored mouth guards, cleats, black shorts, goggles, and a stick.
If your township has a recreational program for field hockey and can provide a team for your child’s age group, then you can NOT sign up at Southampton. The program’s Commissioner & STRA board will make the ultimate decision about out of town players. Please send an email to admin to be considered.

Accepting Members & Donations
Purpose of the Woodland Education Foundation
The Foundation raises private sector funds to support academic initiatives and capital improvements at the Chatsworth Elementary School. This will be done largely through awarding teacher innovation grants and working with the Board of Education and school administration to identify target projects.
Profile of the Successful Board Member
The minimum time commitment for a board member includes 2 hours per month for the regular board meeting. However, the Foundation’s success in building and maintaining community support comes from board members that are able to make contributions of time and resources, have the determination to complete projects in a timely way with little oversight, and, most importantly, have a passion for true excellence in education!
Qualifications
Reflecting the community-wide impact of a strong public school system, the goal of the board is to be composed of individuals with varied backgrounds. Everyone willing to roll up their sleeves is welcome! Given the nature of our events and projects, we strongly encourage individuals to apply if they have specific experience in project management, public and media relations, marketing, fundraising, web design, and/or event planning.
Benefits of Board Membership
Members receive no compensation for serving on the Foundation’s Board. Low overhead and organizational cost ensures that the Foundation is able to direct the maximum amount of all donations towards initiatives in Chatsworth Elementary School. Board Members may get opportunities to work closely with PTOs, school administrators and District personnel. They can also help determine which projects, grants, and initiatives should receive Foundation sponsorship. Helping to create supplementary financial support for our schools is one of the most important and effective methods for fostering sustained academic innovation and excellence.
