A Message from the Principal

We MADE IT!

As we began this semester, we truly had no clue what to expect. But I have to say, I am so proud of Clewiston Middle School. Our entire school community: parents, teachers, students, bus drivers, paras, cafeteria servers, administration, custodians, and more became an strong and cohesive team to do what is best for our students. Our teachers learned to be even more innovative than in the past. Students learned to engage in a new modality of learning. We all learned compassion, flexibility, and perseverance! And...we made it through this far!

Looking ahead into the spring semester there are two things I look toward. First, there will be more change. As the saying goes, "Change is here to stay." But even stronger than change, I have strong faith and hope that will we continue to grow! CMS is strong and we are on the rise!

One of the changes ahead is our virtual learning. Our district is launching Hendry Online Learning Academy in January. By now, our virtual students and family should have received a phone call explaining the new modality. If you have further questions, please feel free to give us a call. Please see the attachment below.

Also, please take a moment to check out the photos from our surprise visitor this week!

It is my greatest wish that all of our families and friends have a beautiful holiday season and make a lot of cherished memories.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
