Principal Message Week of September 7th
Principal’s Message Week of September 7th
Hope everyone had a relaxing, safe holiday weekend. We had a fun week last week and are looking forward to starting Week #4.
Thank you to all the families that joined me via zoom on Thursday for principal's coffee. It was fun and we got the opportunity to say hello to some of our 6th grade classrooms.
On Friday we had our first fire drill which went well. We will continue to schedule safety drills in the coming weeks in order to be prepared.
Last week we were able to distribute chromebooks to our 6th grade students. All students that have been present have now been provided a device. If a student has a chromebook issue or has not received their device they can go to the library and get assistance.
- All students were reminded that devices are to be charged at home and their chargers not to be brought to school.
Kennedy Clubs / Academic supports
We will be starting clubs and academic support the week of September 20th. Students and families will be receiving a list of clubs and academic support on the Cougar Connect on Sept 13th. New this year will be students' ability to create their own club. If they are interested, they complete the form. This form will also be emailed to all students.
Once again thank you for completing your wellness survey each morning. Please remember to keep your student home if they are feeling sick and communicate with the school any relevant health information. Thanks.
Let's have another good week.
