"For the Love of Learning!"
An Attitude of Gratitude Rocks!
~ Kudos to the cafeteria staff for helping my son deal with disappointment in the lunch line, going out and getting those prized corn dog nuggets for the kids, and making a special to go box for him because he just so happened to be sick on the day they did have corn dog nuggets. THANK YOU. Eleanor Richards
~ Thank you to Kim Odom for working with a friend outside of school to put together a quilt for Dalton Fox. Students and some teachers created a square with Mrs. Bailey in art. It was presented to Dalton today with his dad by his side. What a beautiful keepsake. Mrs. Fox is in awe of the generosity and huge hearts found in the walls of Trantwood (students and staff)! Kim C

Since these are the last couple of days of school, we will not be able to edit comments for you. Please take your time to edit your own comments and then swap with a colleague to check before submitting them. If you finish them early, I’d be happy to review for you.
I will be checking the Admin report on Friday to make sure that all grades have been entered in your gradebook correctly. I will notify you if any need to be fixed before you leave for summer break.

Team D T-Shirt For Charity
Journal entry by William Fox — Jun 6, 2018
A friend designed the T-shirt shown here to help support and cheer on Dalton in his fight against Toomi McPooperson. It's Dalton's favorite color and has some activities on it he really enjoys. (Yes, swimming in on there.) D's surgery is scheduled for June 27th and we would love anyone whom wants a shirt to have it by that date. How cool would it be if we all wore our Team D shirts on the day that Toomi gets officially kicked to the curb?
Jen and I are offering the shirts at $20 per shirt with every single dime of the proceeds going to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD) Oncology Department. We'll pay for shipping on our end, if you're out of town, so that every penny above the cost of the shirt itself goes to help Dalton and other kids fight cancer.
Here are the specs on the t-shirts:
Made by Gildan and 100% cotton and true to size
Youth Sizes: Small, Medium, and Large
Adult Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, XL, and XXL
Please let us know if you would like to order one by adding a comment below (email, text, phone call, and maybe even smoke signal work) We need to get the entire order in by next Monday (June 11th) to have the shirts by June 25th. (Hopefully the shirts will be done early but they might not get to our out of town readers by the 27th).
We would like to collect the money when you order and then we won't have to worry about collecting money after the fact when Dalton is recovering from surgery. So please place your order and send or give us the $20 per shirt. Every penny of proceeds will go to charity and the more shirts we order, the cheaper each one gets.
Comment to this post, call Jen or me, or email us (my email is below in the PayPal payment option) if you would like a shirt. Thanks for helping kids with cancer and being a part of Team Dalton!
