Instructional Focus:

TESTING IS DONE!!!!! As you see Sue in the hallway, please take a moment to let her know how much we appreciate all that she has done. We are SO fortunate to have such a capable, diligent testing coordinator. For much of the month she was at school around 6:00 to ensure that everything was ready for our classes to test.


This week I have two district meetings and will be off campus for the majority of Tuesday and Thursday. I am sure next week's newsletter will be lengthy as I try to keep everyone updated.


As we were going over Hattie's list of high yield instructional strategies, many noticed how high the achievement results were for reciprocal teaching. In order to receive the full impact, this has to be done strategically. Here is a great example of how to plan for it, and what it can look like if done correctly:
