Board of Education Candidate Information Candidates that would like their name to appear on the ballot for the Gananda Board of Education must meet qualifications and submit their nomination petition by April 19, 2021. The following vacancies are to be filled in the May 18, 2021 election for a 3-year term beginning July 1, 2021:

- 1 Three year term currently held by Mrs. Robin Vogt
- The petition form must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021 with signatures from 25 Gananda residents for your name to appear on the ballot.

#Unity Shout out to all of the students who volunteered for Gananda Dollars for Scholars Mail-a-thon! There were 17 students who volunteered throughout the 3-day event. GCFS has collected $3,345 from 72 donors so far. They have lost a few donors/sponsored scholarships, so they are hoping to get more donations this year. Please consider contributing to this great cause. Registration for Spring Sports is Open
Family ID registration is open for all Spring Sports (Baseball, Softball, Golf, Lacrosse, Track). Practices begin for all levels April 19, 2021 so it is important to register as soon as possible. There will be an overlap between Fall 2 and Spring sports. More information will be shared on how that will be handled by coaches at a later date. If you are not registered and cleared by April 19th, you will not be able to start practices. Family ID link:

Kindergarten Registration
Part of Parking Lot Closed Starting April 6
Starting April 6, the Physical Education Department will begin to use a section of the parking lot for their UPK-5 classes. This unit will go from Tuesday, April 6th- Thursday, April 29th.
The parking lot nearest the playground, (closest to the softball field), will be used by the class. There will be tall cones there to block it off. Please be sure to avoid this area.

Prom is on for the Class of 2021!

¨ Ticket Price: $50.00 per person, ticket sales will be announced the week of April 5th.
