PPCSD Welcomes Sara Von Burg!Stissing Mountain Jr./Sr. High School proudly welcomes Sara Von Burg as the new Assistant Principal! Sara comes to Pine Plains from Pawling CSD, where she spent 18 years in the classroom as a secondary science teacher. Prior to joining the Pine Plains team, Mrs. Von Burg spent her last year at Pawling as the Tri-State Consortium Collaborator and Dean of Students. Sara was born and raised in Wappingers Falls, where she still lives with her husband and two children. In her spare time, Sara enjoys being outside and cooking and baking for her family and friends. She LOVES chocolate and she LOVES animals. She said, “There should always be time to eat chocolate and pet a dog!” Sara believes in leaving a place better than you found it and making a positive contribution wherever you go.
