Sound Check on Sunday!

The stage is set in the St. Thomas Church Music Ministry Room for student musicians and singers--Grade 3 and up--to come at 9:30am for music and more. Learn how to use the mics, soundboard, keyboard, drums and your voice to praise our Lord. We'll go through the songs for Mass that day and have lots of fun learning about our musical talents.

The 'Student Only' sessions will be held every Sunday and run from 9:30-10am. Our St. Thomas musicians will join us at 10 and rehearse for the 10:30am Mass. Then we'll all go to Mass and sing our praises to God and share our gifts with the St. Thomas parishioners and guests. Stay for what you can, no requirements or registration needed--just a love for sharing your gifts from the Lord!

If you have any questions about this exciting new program, please contact St. Thomas Music Coordinator, Laura Diemer at or call/text 815-541-2596.

Becca's Closet Opens Saturday, March 9!

The first Becca’s Closet was created by Rebecca Kitman, a 16 year old Florida high school sophomore. Becca recognized that there were many girls in her community who were unable to attend their high school proms and homecomings because they could not afford to purchase formalwear for the dances. She launched a dress drive to provide prom dresses and accessories free of charge so that no girl would have to miss these special events. Becca was tragically killed in an automobile accident shortly after starting her “closet.” Her friends and family continued her mission by forming a national “Becca’s Closet” program, with 90 chapters to date. Rockford is the only city in the state of Illinois with an active Becca’s Closet chapter.

I need a dress, shoes, or jewelry:

Open Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm

Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd

1829 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103

If you want to go during the week, talk with Mrs. Dohm (she has the keys).

I have a dress, shoes, or jewelry I want to donate:

Drop them at either Aquin Campus and we'll get them to Mrs. Dohm.

Current Student Registration is Past Due!

Please help us plan for the 2019-20 school year by completing your registration ASAP. We received many forms and fees on Friday--and we thank you! If you haven't completed your registration, please click here and follow the 3 steps listed. All 3 of these steps must be completed to finalize your 2019-20 registration. We thank you for your attention to this matter.

Note: $50 registration fee was valid from January 29-February 15. The fee is now increased to $100 per student (except for a new family in 2019-20, then it is still $50 per student).
