Message from the Principal 💛

We have an exciting week this week as we bring awareness to the fight against drugs for Red Ribbon Week! Red Ribbon Week highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. It is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign and a great opportunity for parents, educators, and communities to reinforce the drug-free messages they share with their children throughout the year. This year's theme is: Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free. So I encourage you to pay attention in Advisory, as we provide information on the dangers of drugs and the importance of living drug-free! 💛

In addition to our Spirit Week, we have Coffee with the Principal, Fall Fest and Haunted House, Student and Staff Costume contests, and we end the week with our Halloween Rally! Halloween is my favorite time of year, if you haven't already noticed with my Halloween-themed clothing and nails, so I'm suuuuuper excited for this week! Be sure to participate so you can earn points on 5-star!! 🌟

Have any suggestions for Music Monday songs? 🎤 Send me an email and I'll add it to my playlist! Congrats to Mrs. Gonzalez's Advisory for winning Week 12's Music Monday! 🤗 Is your Advisory going to win this week? 🎶

Let's make it a great week, Vikings!!

Take care,

Ms. Scott
