Thank you for all the interest in After School Clubs that will start after fall break. All clubs are now closed and we will not be able to accept any more participants at this time. We will have another round of after school clubs in the spring. Students participating in fall clubs will receive a confirmation letter soon with more detailed information.
Believe it or not, the first day of autumn is next Wednesday. One of our favorite fall traditions at Allisonville is the Dad’s Club Bonfire. We are thrilled to be able to host it this year after 2 years off. The bonfire will be held on Friday, October 29th from 5:30-7:30 on the grounds at Allisonville. Mark your calendars for this fun event that all families will not want to miss.
Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!

WT Message Regarding Popular Tik Tok Challenge & School Safety
WT Messaging Regarding Popular Tik Tok Challenge & School Safety
A disturbing nationwide trend on Tik Tok has surfaced that shows videos of students allegedly vandalizing or stealing items from school property. According to Tik Tok, all videos of this nature are now banned because the platform’s community guidelines prohibit any content promoting criminal behavior.
In recent weeks, Washington Township Schools has experienced an increase in reports of stolen property and vandalism across the district. These acts are unacceptable, disrupt the learning environment for students and teachers and will not be tolerated. Any student who steals or vandalizes student property will receive community service hours to clean up any damage caused and may be suspended or expelled per the district’s code of conduct.
Parents we need your help in monitoring your child’s interactions on social media. It is the district’s policy to maintain an atmosphere of caring and support that will nurture talents, promote dignity, and give equal access to opportunities for all. Commitment and adherence to these ideals is the cornerstone of positive relationship building that will empower all to achieve their maximum potential as productive members of society.

SEL Panorama Survey and Snapshot
Panorama Survey for Students in Grade 3-5
We thank you and your family for being our valued partners as we work together to educate the children in our district. As you may already be aware, building our social-emotional learning (SEL) skills is an important goal for our school this year. Over the next several weeks, students and teachers will participate in several exercises to better understand these concepts and to reflect on how they perceive these skills in themselves.
We will be asking for your learner to reflect on their own mindsets and approaches to learning via an online survey they will be completing at school. The survey shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes to complete.
The survey content will ask students to self-reflect on their confidence in themselves as learners, how they interact with others, if they feel a sense of belonging in their classroom and overall school climate.
We are asking that all of our students in grades 3-12 participate in the surveys, as their responses will provide invaluable insights into their experiences and how we can improve and adapt our district to their needs. If a student doesn’t feel like they have enough information to answer a question, they will be able to skip the item altogether. The responses to these surveys will be completely confidential. We are partnering with a third-party vendor called Panorama to support us in administering these surveys.
You can learn about the student surveys at the link HERE and for frequently asked questions refer to the link HERE. If you have any additional questions or concerns about the SEL survey, please don’t hesitate to contact your school’s survey coordinator Beth Stewart at estewart@msdwt.k12.in.us .
If you would like to use an interpreter to ask questions about the Panorama survey, please call our multilingual voicemail line at 317-259-5446, and one of our district interpreters will return your call.
