Goal - To get variable alone on one side of the equation. In order to do this we need to use the inverse operation.
Inverse Operations are Opposites.
Addition and Subtraction are inverse operations.
Multiplication and Division are inverse operations.

Steps to solving 2 steps equations
- Draw line through center of equation
- Distribute if necessary
- Use the inverse operation to isolate the term with variable
- Use inverse operation to isolate variable
- Check by plugging found value into original equation
