APRIL 2019

WELCOME BACK!!!

Here's hoping that you have had a chance to rejuvenate over Spring Break and are ready to send your kids back to school. As a parent, I know that I am ready! Most importantly, I am excited to see your children back at Endeavour!

My family and I spent the break with loved ones and taking a little camping trip to Ocean Shores. It is always fun to get away for a bit! We have a few things happening in the next couple of weeks at Endeavour. Please take a minute to look at upcoming events. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Mittelstaedt | Principal

Don’t throw those old markers in the trash! WE Club is taking those old, dried up marker off your hands! Just send the markers with students to place in the library collection bin.

Endeavour’s WE Club is raising awareness about access to clean water by hosting a family walkathon. We will be using SLMS Track and students and families raise money for walking that will be given to WE Charities. The money raised by students will be used to provide clean water access to struggling communities in Ecuador. We hope to have a water walk simulation station and a Did You Know quiz station, and a lot of fun! Pledge forms are available in the library, and all students accompanied by an adult family member are welcome to participate.

Classroom Placements for 2019-2020

  • If you are interested in requesting a specific learning style or classroom environment, we welcome your input. Forms will be available in our school office beginning Monday, April 22nd thru Friday, May 3rd!
  • Requests for placement need to be completed on the appropriate school form and returned to us by Friday, May 3rd.
  • You are to only request a teaching learning style or classroom environment, not a specific teacher.
  • The Principal of each building makes the final decision in all classroom placements.

Care is given to assigning students to classrooms,

in a manner that assures all students the greatest opportunity for SUCCESS.

There are several considerations for a balanced classroom,

which will best serve the needs of all concerned:

Academic level of the student

Gender (male-female ratio)

Student’s special needs

Social style and maturity

Learning style of the student

Leadership

Teaching style of the teacher

Primary language
