A Note from Mrs. Gray
Happy Thanksgiving Knight families!
As I reflect, I am thankful for so many things. Please let me share just a few them with you:
I am pleased with our students who come to Gray Stone every day ready to learn. They provide us all a daily reminder of why we are here and what is essential.
I am grateful for the support of parents in partnering with us to build a quality support system and community for our students. I am also thankful that our parents have kept trust and confidence in us. We have parents who work hard and advocate to be a partner in their children’s education, safety, and well-being. For this, we will always be so thankful.
I am immensely grateful for the teachers, support staff, counselors, office managers, athletic coaches, and school nurse who care about student success and have the best interests of our students as a top priority. Daily, I see dedicated and hard-working individuals going above and beyond to make sure that great things happen in our school. They do make a difference, and our students benefit from those efforts.
With that said, I encourage each of you to take a moment to send a positive message of gratitude to your child's teachers or any staff member that comes in contact with your child(ren). I encourage students to do the same. Unfortunately, the majority of the communications teachers and staff receive are from those seeking solutions to problems. It would be very uplifting for them to hear about things that are going well and to read sentiments of appreciation for all they do each and every day for our students.
I would like to wish all of you and your families a healthy, relaxing, and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving break!

ALL students, unless riding with a high school sibling, should be dropped off in the car line cue for school arrival. We still have some parents dropping students off in the school parking lots. For the safety of students and fairness to all of those in line, please follow the process we have established for morning drop-off.
Insider tip: There are usually minimal vehicles coming through the line between the hours of 7:40 - 7:50 so you can get in and out with no waiting.
