Boonsboro Middle School
Connect! Inspire! Achieve!
BMS is collecting non-perishable items through a Kids Helping Kids Food Drive. The food drive is running from October 2 to October 27 and all donations will go towards the BMS Food Pantry. There are central drop-off locations for students in Mr. Lewis’ room (8th grade), Mrs. Bowser’s room (7th grade), Mr. Stottlemyer’s room (6th grade), Ms. Kinsey’s room, the counseling center, and the front office. Students who bring in 10 or more items at a time will earn a reward. This is also a chance for Boonsboro Middle to receive money for our school at a state level and State recognition for helping our local community. If it is easier to make a monetary donation, please do so from the link below: https://fooddrive.mdfoodbank.org/boonsboromiddle
Thank you all for your support in helping any way you can on a local and national level. Please contact Ms. Kinsey with any questions about the food drive or the BMS Food Pantry directly at (301)766-8048 or kinseali@wcps.k12.md.us

Student Services
8th Grade Vision Screening
Vision screening will be provided for students in grade eight on October 27, 2017. The Hagerstown Lioness Club provides the initial vision screening in kindergarten, grade one, grade three, grade five, and grade eight. You will receive written notification should your child need further evaluation. It is important to note that these are simple screening tests and are not designed to be diagnostic of specific vision or hearing disorders. Washington County Public Schools (WCPS), in collaboration with the Hagerstown Lioness Club are pleased to continue to provide these vital services for WCPS students.
