We like to share
What's Good in 109 in every newsletter, at every board meeting, and on social media as much as possible.
DPS 109 continued our now 3rd annual Arbor Day tradition of planting a tree donated by the Village of Deerfield at one of our schools! We were excited to have Ms. Gray 2nd's grade class, and some of our 4th grade leaders from South Park along with Mayor Dan Shapiro, Superintendent Simeck, Principal Faust, and Board of Education Members Mrs. Jakymiw participate in the festivities!
There was a REALLY cool initiative between Shepard, Walden, and Kipling where 7th grade ELA students were partnered up with 2nd graders and had to write a story about the younger student!
