News Feed 9/21/2021
I sure hope everyone has gotten into the groove of school. So many things have been happening: FFA has been busy at the county and state fair, football players and cheerleaders have been to the elementary at least one day a week for the last three weeks or so to support our young kiddos as they come in the front door, basketball just had their first meeting of the year, homecoming last week, BPA was off to something today and our first blood drive is next week!! Little Axe may be a fairly small school but it has a lot to offer!
If your student is not involved in something...get them involved in at least one thing during high school. School activities are important in their growth and social/emotional growth.
Parent Teacher Conferences are already in swing...last Thursday and tonight!! It isn't too late to schedule a meeting with a teacher for tonight. Please do so by this link- Here. If you miss this conference, feel free to reach out to any of the teachers at any time during the school year. Teacher contact information.
- For the new students we have gotten...Google Classroom Codes have been posted to the "Class Of...." classrooms. Although, click here for a quick reference.
Please make sure your student is checking their email a MINIMUM of one time a day. We are still finding many students who are not.
Have a good rest of the week!
Stay Safe!

Attendance Reminder
Attendance policy is back in place this year as to whether a student will lose credit. It is and has been a state policy that the student should be in attendance a minimum of 90% of the time. Meaning, per policy, a student shall not miss more than eight (8) days a semester. If they have nine (9) or more absences in one hour they will receive a NC, "No Credit" for that class on their transcript.
Three (3) tardies to one hour can add to one (1) absence in that hour.
Last Week Event Updates
Jostens was there last week to take orders for Letter Jackets. If your student missed this and is interested have them see Mrs. Stroud, rm 107.
