Auction Success!
Hello ACMA Families!
A big thank you to all of you who donated items, funds and or bought tickets and attended our 15th Annual Auction & Gala. We are still counting the numbers but know that we had a successful auction and after expenses are determined we will be able to give you a final number. We had a great paddle raise and raised $10,500.00 We attribute this success to our students who stirred us with their passions for art as well as our principal Bjorn Paige who gave a great speech about the importance of helping our students by raising funds for new LED lighting in the PAC; something we all use. In addition, our creative auctioneer, Justin Timm, came up with some innovative ways to spur us on to donate donate donate.
The night was filled with lots of fine art being auctioned off by our visual arts students (paintings & ceramics) while listening to our own Jazz band. The entertainment (Orchestra, Synergy, DanceWest, as well our theater group) performances was a delight and enjoyed by all who attended. We had lots of great comments and compliments as to our event presentation, entertainment, auction items and overall success. We could not have had a successful event without everyone pitching in and donating your time and resources.
A big thanks to our school staff for all their help and support as well as the ACMA PTO without whom this event could not be possible. A great thanks to the Auction Committee for their tireless efforts in procuring goods and services, printing all the advertising, invites and catalogs, putting together the live and silent auction packages, decorating the event space and handling everything the night of the auction and beyond. We couldn't have done any of this without you.

Who we are: The mission of the non-profit Washington County Art Alliance is to enhance community vitality by presenting the Washington County Open Studios tour, building interaction with local artists when they open their studio doors to the public. This annual event is in October, and is free so that anyone can connect with working artists, learn the “how” and “why” of their creativity, and explore art opportunities as they explore the county.
