Definition
A sudden and sometimes fatal occurrence of coronary thrombosis, typically resulting in death of part of the hearts muscle
Symptoms
Pressure, heaviness, chest pain, chocking feeling, sweating, nausea, shortness of breath
Treatment
When a heart attack is diagnosed treatment begins immediately with drugs
These treatments start as soon as they are diagnosed sometimes in the ambulance
Surgical procedures are also used to treat a heart attack
Causes and Prevention
Causes: Heart failure, Arrhythmia or abnormal heart beat, heart valve problem
Prevention: Dont smoke, manage blood pressure, lower cholesterol, manage blood sugar, eat healthy, lose weight
