Registration for 2024-2025 School Year
A presentation of related topics applicable to each grade level will be sent to parents via Parent Square.
The registration meetings are as follows:
11th grade (rising Seniors) - During the week of January 30 - February 9 through Math classes.
10th grade (rising Juniors) - During the week of February 13 - February 16 and February 26 through English classes.
9th grade (rising Sophomores) - During the week of March 5 - March 13 through Health and PE classes.
Students who miss sessions due to absence will be rescheduled.
Requesting a Transcript for Dual Enrollment
Do you need to submit a transcript for your college application for dual enrollment?
- Students can order a paper copy for $3.00 in the counseling office

Interested Seniors should write a 5-7 paragraph essay answering the following question:

Coweta-Fayette EMC is offering a unique experience for students who are leaders in their high schools, communities, places of worship, or academic and community organizations through the Washington Youth Tour! The Washington Youth Tour is an opportunity for high school students to learn more about our nation’s capital alongside classmates and friends throughout Georgia. It is an all-expenses-paid trip on behalf of Georgia’s electric membership cooperatives (EMCs). All courtesy of Coweta-Fayette EMC. The co-op is searching for students who enjoy spending time planning projects, volunteering, and meeting others from across the state to apply.
The deadline for the application is Friday, February 16, 2024.
Janice Folsom Music Scholarship
Objective: Recognize Janice Folsom’s 29 years of service as Choral Director at Fayette County High
School, and her significant contributions to the music programs of the Fayette County School System through her service as Music Contact Person, by awarding a music scholarship in her honor on the occasion of her retirement in 2006 and awarded annually thereafter.
Scholarship Amount: $500
Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must:
- Be a graduating senior at a high school located in Fayette County
- Be a college bound student with the intent to major in Music Education (preferred) or Music
- Have been an active participant in the music program (chorus, band and/or orchestra) throughout his/her tenure at the school of graduation
- Demonstrate outstanding character, integrity and personal responsibility
- Demonstrate solid academic performance
Other Considerations:
- Grade point average of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Participation in honor chorus or band/orchestra or in All-State chorus or band/orchestra a plus
- Other awards or demonstrated accomplishments in the field of music a plus
- Active participation in other school fine arts programs (e.g., drama) a plus
- Record of community service a plus, particularly in the area of education or mentoring
Application Requirements
- 500 Word essay describing how music has impacted his/her life and
- Three letters of recommendation describing the student’s character and integrity as well as musical involvement and community service. There should be one letter from the student’s school music teacher, a school administrator, and another adult who has worked with the student in an outside of school setting.

Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship
SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFICATIONS
1. Scholarships will be awarded to students under the following criteria:
a. accepted or enrolled in an official medical program at an accredited Georgia college, university
or technical school;
b. accepted or enrolled in accredited Georgia college, university or technical school in a healthcare
or science related major with the intention to pursue a healthcare related career.
2. Applicants must be legal residents of Fayette County or must be Piedmont Fayette Hospital employees, volunteers, or their dependents regardless of county of residence.
3. An official transcript is required; faxes or photocopies are not acceptable.
4. Grade Point Average (GPA) must be at least 3.0
5. There is no age-restriction.
6. Applicants may be required to have a personal interview with the PFHA Scholarship Committee and, unless self-supporting, a parent or guardian should be present.

We are pleased to announce the availability of our 2024 East Point/College Park Presidential and Torch of Wisdom Scholarship applications. All of our scholarships are available for use at an accredited two- or four-year institution.
We will award a limited number of scholarships in the amount of $5,500 to graduating African American high school seniors through our Presidential Scholarship. Students may apply for one of four scholarships under the Presidential Scholarship.
The Torch of Wisdom Scholarship is for first-generation college students. This scholarship is need based and will be given to students who are the first in their family to attend college. We will award two scholarships in the amount of $25,000 (1) and $12,500 (1). Students may access the
scholarships in three ways:

Fayette County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Since 1941, the Fayette County Farm Bureau has promoted farming in Fayette County and informed
politicians about issues important to the agricultural community. It also educates students and consumers about the source of their food, fiber, and fuel as opportunities arise.
ELIGIBILITY: The applicant must be a high school senior pursuing further education toward a degree in an ag-related field. Preference for but not limited to a child or grandchild of a current member of Farm Bureau.
