Why did the Aztecs religion have them cut open people's chest to feed there gods?

The Aztecs religion had them cut open people's chest to feed their gods because Blood was "required by the gods" .It was for their religious ceremonies. It was "a way of showing respect."

Did they like cutting open people open in the chest?

The Aztecs religion had them cut open peoples chest to feed their gods because it was known as a repayment. They never felt good about cutting people open, but it's what they had to do for religious ceremonies. The gods sacrificed a lot for them so they have to repay them.

Was it a honor system for the gods or the people of the Aztecs?

The Aztecs religion had them cut open people's chest to feed their gods because you had to honor the gods. They only cut open people because of the fact that they had to honor their gods. When they had religious ceremonies you had to give something and there was blood.
