Instructional Reminders
- Team: Please remember to guard your instructional time. We don't have many days left. We want to make sure we are using every second of our instructional time.
- Playground Monitoring: This is the time of the year where we begin to see more and more office referrals from the playground. Please make sure you are supervising kids at all times. I know we have a tendency to sit and catch up with our colleagues, but we must spread-out and supervise our kids.
- Please take some time to fill out the EVAAS sheet. Please list any student who enrolled at PES after day 1.
- We will have one more lock down drill this year. A couple of reminders: Leave exterior window blinds open. Sweep or visually scan the hall before securing your doors. Make sure all doors are locked (interior and exterior). Make sure students are not on computers and you're not on your phone. Make sure interior door windows are covered. Never open your door for anyone, even an all call. We (an administrator or the police) will unlock all doors.
- Please complete the Behavior Consequence sheet as a grade level. I shared it at the staff meeting on Tuesday. Below are some possible logical consequences. Here's a logical consequence sheet to start your conversations.
