Henry DiCarlo Visit
It was such a pleasure to have Yorba Linda's very own Henry DiCarlo visit our school and speak to the students about his career as a meteorologist! He shared some interesting facts about the different types of weather we experience here in California and gave us a little bit of insight into predicting the weather. The students truly enjoyed listening to everything Mr.DiCarlo had to share.
We hope that you were all able to catch AMA's spotlight on KTLA5 Morning News Thursday!
Pick-up and drop-off Zone
The pick-up and drop-off zone is only intended for those who are staying inside their vehicles. Please park in the designated parking spots if you would like to walk your child into school. Also, do not park facing east towards the playground. Thank you for following our safety guidelines.
Referral Incentive!
Good Friends Share Everything!
We are currently offering a special incentive to our current AMA families. For EVERY new family you refer to AmeriMont Elementary who enrolls, you will receive a $1,000 credit towards your child's annual tuition. In addition, the referred family will receive a $500 credit towards their annual tuition. What a deal! Please do not hesitate to reach out to our administration team with any questions you may have.
*Credits will be applied to the last month's tuition
A Look Ahead
$1 Jeans Day 3/28
We are hosting our third $1 Jeans Day of the school year on Thursday, March 28th! All students and staff are permitted to wear jeans with free dress on this day with a minimum donation of $1 (participation is completely optional). All donations will go to the Epilepsy Foundation in observance of March being National Epilepsy Awareness month.
Do not hesitate to reach out to Miss Maltas with any questions. Don't forget to wear jeans and bring your donations for this special cause on March 28th! :)
Citizen of the Month Awards 3/22
On Friday, March 29th, we will hold our Citizen of the Month Awards at 8am on the yard.
Throughout the month of March, students have been learning what it means to display citizenship. Citizenship is understanding, appreciating, and practicing positive actions that help make your school, community, and the world a better place. Each student votes for someone in their class who has displayed these qualities and believes they should be recognized. Be sure to ask your child about how they can show citizenship.
Each month, AMA will focus on a different trait based on the seven habits of effective leaders. April's trait will focus on trustworthiness; the ability to be relied on as honest and truthful.
All Citizen of the Month Awards are formal dress days.
TK & K Performance 3/22
Mrs. Shubin's and Miss Kelley's students will be performing in the MPR on Friday, March 29th at 2pm. All Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten family members are welcome to attend!
This is a formal uniform day for all students.
