In the movie,Descendants, villains and their kids-Mal,daughter of Maleficent (Dove Cameron); Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil (Cameron Boyce); Evie, daughter of Evil Queen (Sofia Carson); and Jay, son of Jafar (Booboo Stewart)-live on an island prison. The characters are cast away from the kingdom, Auradon. Prince Ben (Mitchell Hope), the son of Belle and the Beast, going to be the king soon. He says that the villain kids should be able to go to school in Auradon. Mal,Carlos,Evie, and Jay adjust to there new lives in Auradon, while their parents plan to change the kingdom forever.
The movie is not just about heroes and the villains. Friendship is a huge part as well. Although the villains' kids don't like each other at first ,they become friends at the end.''These kids have started to rely on each other,'' Dove Cameron said. ''They become best friends and a real family.'' The bad teens have to decide between good or evil, like their parents.

Directed by Kenny Ortega, who directed the High School Musical movies,Descendants features singing and dancing also. ''I hope that when people see it they can really relate to it and know we absolutely put our hearts into it.'' Cameron says.

From Penthouse to Cabin!

BUNK'D features the characters Emma,Zuri, and Ravi from the popular Disney show Jessie. Emma,Zuri, and Ravi leave their New York penthouse to go to a summer camp in Maine where their parents meet as teens. The Ross kids must get used to their summer at the old camp, where they make friends and go on amazing adventures. '' It's exciting and really different from Jessie,'' List told TFK. '' It will be fun to see Emma get used to the summer camp life.''

Camp Kikiwaka brings a lot of new challenges for the Ross kids as well. ''Emma has to become more independent a learn to accept a challenge in her environment, since camp is so different for her.'' List explains.

In the first episode, ''Welcome to Camp Kikiwaka,'' the kids arrive at camp and campers, such as Tiffany (Nina Lu), a smart girl who needs to learn how to have fun, Jorge (Nathan Arenas), a boy who was abducted by aliens, Xander (Kevin G. Quinn), a cool camp counselor, and Lou (Miranda May), the head of the cabin where Emma,Zuri, and Tiffany live.

How do real life summer camp and school experiences compare to those of the kids in the new Disney shows? Kids don't usually wear costumes to school, or sing in the halls, but they do in Descendants. And not all kids go same camp as their parents did like they do BUNK'D, or even go to camp. But they may face the same challenges. For Emma it's'' getting used to living in a small space and.....not having people take care of her all the time,'' says List. For the kids in Descendants, it's learning about who they are. ''No matter who you think you are, or who others think you are,'' said Cameron,''you can be who ever you want.''
