PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES Feb.12th in the Morning and Feb. 24th in the Evening
McElwain Families,
We wanted to provide you an update on our plan for Parent-Teacher Conferences in February, as well as an important change to our calendar.
Our original calendar had a teacher work day with no school for students scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 10. In the interest of providing more continuity in learning that week with four straight days of instruction (M-Th), we have decided to move that work day from Wednesday, Feb. 10 to Friday, Feb. 12. There will be no school for students on Friday, Feb. 12.
As we’ve transitioned in and out of various learning models this school year due to COVID, we’ve had to adjust our calendar. We recognize this can be a challenge for our families and have worked to minimize calendar changes as much as possible. We appreciate your patience and hope our families will find this calendar change to be beneficial to student learning and less disruptive to families’ schedules that week.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
While our Parent-Teacher Conferences will look a little different this year given COVID, our teachers are committed to connecting with each of our families to provide a progress report on their student and to partner in supporting each student’s growth for the remainder of this semester. Teachers will reach out through Dojo, phone calls or notes to schedule depending on what communication style works for your family.
February 12th 7:30 am-11:30 am
February 24th 3:00 pm-7:00 pm
