Greetings from Hoover!
As we approach colder weather in the mornings, pls ensure that your children are wearing warm clothing, a sweater, a sweatshirt, a light jacket, etc. But always keeping in mind our dress code; black, grey, white or navy blue are OK, no large logos pls and stay away from colors such as red, pink, lime green, etc. Also a reminder that blue jeans are not part of the dress code, if you are in need of uniforms, please contact our Family Center, they will be happy to support you.
As we continue to experience an increase in Covid cases in the County, it is important to continue to focus on safety. Please do not send children to school with personal toys, as they tend to share them with their classmates, and if you are sending your children with healthy snack (pls avoid unhealthy snacks such as, hot cheetos, or food with excessive content of fats and or sugars) pls remind your children that snacks are not to be shared.
My number one priority is the safety of everyone on campus, for that matter, the school has arranged to have regular rapid testing as follows:
Mondays from 3-5pm at Kennedy Middle School
Thursdays from 2:15 to 4pm at Hoover
In order to get tested, we need to have your permission, so please register on this link (Click here to register), this is a one time registration and it is extremely important so that we can continue to keep a safe environment on campus. Thank you in advance for doing this.

Student Education Benefit Form,
If you have not done so, please fill out the form above for the 2021-22 school year, because all students will get free lunches, the district will not collect the usual Free or Reduced-Price Meal (FRPM) Applications. Instead, the district will ask households to complete the above Student Education Benefit Form (click on link above) to survey household income.

PAL ENRICHMENT AT HOOVER
