First Mastery Charts!
NCVPS Credit Recovery Courses - Fall 2015
Your first mastery chart is waiting for you in your Messages Inbox!
Mastery charts are like progress reports. They are usually sent every other week to you, to your parents, and to your school. Here is some information to help you further understand the information contained in a mastery chart.
Above is a snapshot of a sample mastery chart that will resemble the one you will receive:
-If you see a M beside an assignment, you have mastered (made an 80 or better) it.
-If you see a NM beside an assignment, you made below an 80 on the assignment and need to do it again to make an 80 or better.
-If you see EXEMPT beside an assignment, you made an 80 or better on the pre-assessment for that module, verified your knowledge with me via phone or IM, and were able to move to the next module in the course.
-If you see PENDING REVIEW beside an assignment, you made an 80 or better on the pre-assessment for that module, but still need to verify your knowledge of the material with me via phone or IM. You can contact me to set up a time to get this done!
On Pace
Being "on pace" means that you have done at least the amount of work expected so far in the course. It also means that if you stay on pace, you will finish the course on time and pass.
Not on Pace
Being "not on pace" means that you haven't done the minimum amount of work expected so far in the course. However, you can catch up and get on pace by doing more work the following week. You will receive a set of goals from me to help get on track.
