Visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum online propaganda gallery: http://www.ushmm.org/propaganda/exhibit.html#/gallery/. Peruse the gallery and select one piece of propaganda that intrigues you to answer the following questions.
Station 7: Path to War
In World War II by Willmott, Messenger, and Cross, skim and scan chapter 1: The Path to War (pages 10-34). (Book is on the book table.)
1) In the chart, explain how each of the factors listed contributed to the inception of World War II.
Station 8: War in the Pacific
As you view the video clip about the war in the Pacific, peruse World War II: The Events and Their Impact on Real People by Grant for more information about the role of Japan in World War II (pages 68-73). (Book is on the book table.) Answer questions.
Station 9: Hiroshima and the Atom Bomb
In Hiroshima: The Story of the First Atom Bomb by Lawton, skim and scan the book with special attention to “Making the Decision (pages 20-21). (Book is on the book table.)
