Missed Finals Due to Covid? If you have been out of school due to Covid protocols, the THS staff is prepared to accommodate you. It is important that students reach out to their teachers to exercise these options. Teachers have also been instructed to reach out to those students absent from their finals to communicate options for missing work and taking finals. Second Semester Schedules Semester 2 schedules will be available to students to view on StudentVue starting Tuesday. If there are errors, Counselors are available to assist. Advisory Teacher Contact Time We are making some revisions to our advisory structure in Semester 2. Students will continue to be assigned an advisory teacher attached to their 3rd and 4th period classes. Attendance for advisory is reported under periods 9 and 10 in ParentVue. Our goal is to build time during the school day (two days a week) for students to access their teachers. During Academic Flex, students will be able to either work on homework in their Advisory class or go to one of their teachers for help and support. Spring Sports Sign Up We are currently holding sign-ups for spring sports. There is no cost to participate. You can find out information by visiting our website. Spring sports include: Baseball Softball Boys and Girls Track and Field Boys and Girls Tennis Boys and Girls Golf Boys and Girls Lacrosse First practice is February 28th. Bus Riders (Notice from Transportation) Here are a few reminders for those students riding the school buses to and from school. 1. All students MUST wear their masks at all times while riding the bus. 2. All students MUST sit in their assigned seat at all times. a. This includes secondary level students. 3. All students MUST display and scan their Bus Passes (ZPass Cards) to ride the school bus. a. Transportation is having a hard time as many students are not remembering their cards and in some cases are even refusing to display their cards. b. This is the best tool for we have to verify if a student is on a bus.
