What is Crack Cocaine?

Crack Cocaine is a crystal form which normally comes in powder form. It is obtained in leaves of Coca Plant.

How Is It Used?

Crack Cocaine can be snorted, or even Freebased which is heating it until it liquefies then inhaling it through a pipe.

Street Names.

There are a lot of street names for this drug but here are some of them, Snow Coke, Nuggets, Electric Kool-Aid, French Fries, Cookies, and Crunch & Munch. They're named after a lot of food products.

Short-Term Effects

Doing Cocaine is gonna give you some short-term effects such as, Intense Depression, Edginess, and Mostly a Craving for More.

Long-Term Effects

As well as Short-Term effects the are some Long-Terms too, like Heart Attack, Stroke, Seizure, and even Respiratory Failure.

Statistics

In the US federal courts in 2007, 5,477 individuals were found guilty of crack cocaine- related crimes.


More than 95% of these offenders had been involved in crack cocaine trafficking.


The 2007 US National Survey on Drug Use and Health shows that 8.6 million Americans aged 12 and older reported having used crack.


In the United States, crack cocaine was the Primary drug of abuse in 178,475 admissions to treatment in 2006
