Reminders
Order an MHS Softball Jacket or Jersey | Next order of I AM ONE shirts We will be placing one more order for the "I Am One" shirts. Click here for the order form. | Congratualtions to Christina McCaw and Ellen Tucker Two McMillian faculty members, Ellen Tucker and Christina McCaw, were selected to present at the Show-Me Curriculum Administrator's Association meeting in October for their program Thinking outside the box to engage and improve reading ability. Through outside of the box thinking and our administrators support we have been able to reach the lowest and neediest readers in our classrooms. Rethinking how to organize the reading workshop block and providing intensive direct instruction on lacking strategies have given students the skills needed to support and improve their reading. We have seen students grow above and beyond expectations! We have increased engagement in the text and provided students with strategies to continue to grow and evolve their reading lives! Come join us if you'd like to step out of the box to push your lowest readers to their highest potential. |
